…beer…chips…my surplus-store-fatigues
safe, secure and comfortably free…

This kind of history
I’ve just known by the book.
Now I’m getting
A first hand 48” look.

I look at the map and search just to see
where in the world these people not free.
I don’t understand your way of life
You live and you thrive on nothing but strife.

Get your dose of the war,
tastes bad going gown
but it’ll do you some good,
never mind you’re beginning to frown.

War’s a 4-letter word
like dead, kill and hate.
