Indians Wrestle Spots in State Championships
Little Axe junior Brandon Henson pulled out a win at the state wrestling tournament semifinals in Oklahoma City last night in the 103 pound weight class. Henson won his match by one point in the final minute, 6-5.
And Dustin Hawkins, also a junior, won his match in the 189 pound class.
It’s been 13 years since Little Axe wrestlers last made it to the championship round.
