Inclusive Community Discussion
Is Norman an inclusive community?
Do all of our citizens feel respected and represented?
Tell us what you think about Norman.

Hi everyone–
Residents of Norman are invited to meet and talk about those questions and related issues at a public Inclusive Community Discussion from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, April 12th. It will be held at the Little Axe Elementary School cafeteria, at 2000 168th Ave. NE in Norman. Topics to be discussed include education, public safety, housing, employment and economic opportunities, and social services.
The goal is to listen to each other and gather concerns and ideas about continuing to make Norman a better place to live and work. Last year I participated in Norman’s third such discussion and loved the variety of people and the group conversation that I experienced. Citizen comments at an earlier Discussion helped start regular bus service out Hwy 9 to Little Axe.
You do not have to live in far east Norman to participate in this Monday evening’s discussion. The discussions are sponsored by the Norman Human Rights Commission.
