Kids get more than a meal at the Little Axe Community Center summer lunch program. The Wednesday ‘Story Time’ sessions conducted by Pioneer Library personnel are also very popular with kids.

Story time

July 28th will be the last “Story Time” session. All children who signed up for the Summer Reading Program are asked to bring their book list. Medallions, prizes, and a party complete with cupcakes will be part of the celebration.

The Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma sponsors the lunch program which runs Mondays-Thursdays from 11:30 am to 12:20 pm until July 29. It is open to all children 18 years old and younger.
