After a rough start, the Little Axe varsity football team salvaged their season with a win at home, beating Chandler 14-8. The win puts the season performance at 5-5, coming in behind an impressive 9-1 record by the District 4 leaders Perkins-Tryon. The Indians were only able to play two home games due to their field being destroyed by a tornado in May.
