Little Axe 4-H Holds County Communication Event

On Jan 11, Little Axe was host to the first 4-H county event in recent memory. The event consisted of photograph, public speaking, model meetings, job readiness and technology exhibits. Around 80 to 85 people attended from OKC, Moore, Norman, Noble, Lexington and of course Little Axe.

There were 30 public speaking presentations. Matt Edge and Jennifer Jones from Little Axe received a Blue and Top Two award for their respective presentations. Matt Edge, Daylon Honeycut, Jessica Honeycut and Jennifer Jones also entered photos. They received ribbons from Blue and Top Two to White.

Jessica Honeycut also entered a 4-H poster and received a White ribbon.

Little Axe 4-H would like to thank the school for allowing us the use of the facilities and Rene Hale and Pam Sharp for their part in judging the event. We also want to thank all the other judges and the extension educators for helping make this a great event.
