School Board Member Election
An election for Little Axe School Board Office No. 2 has been scheduled for Feb. 14, 2012. The term of office is for 5 years.
The filing period for candidates will begin Monday, December 5 at the Cleveland County Election Board Office, 641 E. Robinson, Suite 200, Norman. Declarations of Candidacy will be accepted on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, December 5, 6, and 7, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Declarations of Candidacy are available at the Election Board Office and are required to be notarized by a Notary Public.
School Board Redistricting
In October, Little Axe Board members designated the school superintendent to enter into an agreement with the Oklahoma House of Representatives Redistricting Office, to provide support with the redistricting of boundaries for board of education offices.
