Current Little Axe School Board member No. 2, Albert Heitkamper, was the only candidate to file for that office with the Cleveland County Election Board. Heitkamper will serve a five year term.

Board members establish and administer school Policies and Procedures and swear to uphold the Constitutions of Oklahoma and the United States.

Heitkamper lives in McCloud and is a professor of computer science/cybersecurity at Oklahoma City Community College.
