With only a few months to go, construction of the 72,000 sq.ft. Absentee Shawnee Health Center is in its final phase. Landscaping and signage is appearing along with some striking architectural features.

Completion of the $26 million project is on schedule for March 2012. The facility is capable of supporting 140 health care professionals, including medical doctors, dentists, an optometrist, audiologists, radiologists, pharmacists and lab technicians. It will initially serve members of federally recognized native American tribes.
