4-H Happens
For the last several months 4-Her’s have been busy.
In Oct the club manned a make and take table at the county Fun Fest. The club helped visitors make pipe cleaner critters.
In Nov, Shawn Jones competed in the State 22 pistol match. He placed 4th and has qualified for nationals.
Also in Nov, Jennifer Jones placed 2nd in District Make it With Wool. She also competed at the State level.
In Dec, the club hosted the 2nd Annual Sr. Citizens Christmas party with the Community Center. It has grown from last year and the club expects it to keep getting better.
Three members participated in a swine jackpot show in Washington. Members Kenzie Self, Cody Oswald and Kelsey Hicks placed 2nd, 3rd and 5th in class respectively.
January started out with the Communication event. Jennifer Jones, Shawn Jones, Jebidiah Stubbs and Hunter Welchel participated. The group earned 3 top twos and blues, 1 blue, 2 reds and 1 white.
Also in January Kelsy Hicks and Cody Oswald took part in the Noble swine jackpot show. They placed 2nd and 4th in class.
